The Safe-T-Fill 9000 was developed in 1989 by Trident Filling Systems Corp., a privately owned manufacturer, in Vancouver, Canada.
 

This system will fill a standard automotive battery in 30 seconds with absolutely no spill and it will drain the electrolite container completely which means that no longer will plastic bags with small amounts of acid end up in landfill sites.
